Admissions FAQs
How long does treatment last?
The average length of stay in the residential level of care varies based on the individual’s needs coming into the program and their progression throughout treatment. We aren’t a set time-frame program, but rather we advocate for the appropriate level and duration of care that gives each client the best chance at sustained recovery. If utilizing insurance for coverage, the length of stay is largely dependent on insurance approval as well.
How do I get started?
The first step is to call one of our facilities to speak with a member of our admissions team. We will schedule a full telephone or in-person assessment, verify insurance coverage, discuss admission dates, and respond to any questions.
What programs do you offer?
Can someone ever fully recover from an eating disorder, or are they always in recovery? How do you know if you are recovered?
There are different opinions on this topic, but we know that complete recovery from an eating disorder is possible. However, studies show that the prospect for recovery are greatly reduced without proper treatment. At Aster Springs, we understand the importance of being realistic about recovery and know that it’s a process. We work with each client to understand the underlying issues of their eating disorder and address those issues so they can find freedom.
If you are ready to take the next step in the eating disorder recovery process for you or your loved one, the compassionate team at Aster Springs is here to help.
