Aster Springs Virginia offers inclusive, comprehensive eating disorder treatment for adult women and those identifying as females (18+) in two safe, home-like settings near Richmond. Our residential and intensive outpatient programs provide personalized, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s needs.
With an experienced, highly credentialed clinical team, we foster lasting recovery and collaborate with families to support healing. We’re committed to compassionate, expert care that empowers clients to achieve sustainable recovery.

Treatment Locations
Aster Springs Virginia has two residential treatment centers in Glen Allen and Manakin-Sabot. Each location offers a private, peaceful, and home-like treatment environment where our clients can focus on healing and recovery.
Our Levels of Care
We offer a seamless continuum of care, ensuring clients receive the right level of support at every stage. Our residential, PHP, and IOP programs serve adult females (18+) — including those who identify as female — and provide the skills and support needed for lasting healing.
Residential treatment
Our highest level of care is provided in a home-like environment within a small, supportive community, which is essential for healing.

Partial hospitalization program (PHP)
Clients in our PHP participate in programming during the day and apply learned skills, including meal preparation, in the evening.

Intensive outpatient program (IOP)
Our IOP clients can attend programming day or evening, preparing meals and engaging in learned skills during free time.
- Less intensive than residential or PHP treatment
- Three hours per day, four to five days per week
- Includes individual, family, + group therapy, nutrition counseling, meal support, + medical + psychiatric services
