Levels of Care
One size doesn’t fit all when it comes to eating disorder treatment. At Aster Springs, we offer a range of options to fit a variety of treatment needs at different stages of recovery.
Many clients begin with residential treatment before stepping down to partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs. We also offer virtual intensive outpatient programming (V-IOP) in the evenings at select locations. Additionally, several housing options are available for clients attending PHP and IOP treatment.

Residential Treatment
Our highest level of care is provided in a home-like environment within a small, supportive community, which is essential for healing.

Partial Hospitalization Program
Clients in our PHP participate in programming during the day and apply learned skills, including meal preparation, in the evening.

Intensive Outpatient Program
Our IOP clients can attend programming day or evening, preparing meals and engaging in learned skills during free time.
- Less intensive than residential or PHP treatment
- Three hours per day, four to five days per week
- Individualized treatment plans
- Meal planning + prep activities
Aster Springs online (V-IOP)
A standalone treatment option or a step down from residential or PHP to allow clients to ease back into life at home.

- Perfect for those who can’t travel for treatment
- Three hours in the evening, three times each week
