Rather than an abrupt return to daily life after residential treatment, our PHP provides a structured step toward independence. Clients continue developing well-being, personal growth, and essential recovery skills while benefiting from consistent programming and staff. PHP includes six hours of group therapy, five days a week, and family therapy when appropriate. Nearby housing options are available for clients who need accommodations.
We are in-network with multiple insurance providers and accept out-of-network benefits from other major insurance companies. We also accept self-pay.

​Aster Springs recognizes the critical connection between substance use disorders and eating disorders. Research indicates that up to 35% of individuals with substance use disorders also experience eating disorders, while approximately 50% of those with eating disorders engage in substance misuse. Adolescent Programming in Ohio
​At Aster Springs Outpatient Columbus, we offer specialized programs for adolescents (12+), including PHP and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Our comprehensive approach encompasses psychoeducation and a unique art therapy component, promoting self-expression and healing.
A key focus is examining how social media influences body image and personal development. Additionally, we provide family-based therapy (FBT), an evidence-based method that equips parents with the skills and knowledge to support their teens throughout treatment and beyond.
