IOP is a flexible level of care that offers comprehensive programming, evidence-based therapies, and tailored eating disorder treatment on an outpatient basis.

Our intensive outpatient level of care allows clients to step down gradually from residential or partial hospitalization treatment programs and ease into regular life with ongoing structure and support. IOP enables clients to attend programming during the day or evening, prepare meals, and practice real-time coping skills in their free time. Several housing options are available nearby for clients in the program.
We are in-network with multiple insurance providers and accept out-of-network benefits from other major insurance companies. We also accept self-pay.

Adolescent Programming in Ohio
​At Aster Springs Outpatient Columbus, we offer specialized programs for adolescents (12+), including PHP and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Our comprehensive approach encompasses psychoeducation and a unique art therapy component, promoting self-expression and healing.
A key focus is examining how social media influences body image and personal development. Additionally, we provide family-based therapy (FBT), an evidence-based method that equips parents with the skills and knowledge to support their teens throughout treatment and beyond.
