We offer residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient treatment for adult women and those identifying as female (18+) in two welcoming, home-like settings near Richmond, Virginia. Our personalized, evidence-based care addresses eating disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns, with 24/7 support at the residential level so you’re never alone on this journey.

With an experienced, highly credentialed clinical team, we foster lasting recovery and collaborate with families to support healing. We’re committed to compassionate, expert care that empowers clients to achieve sustainable recovery.

We offer a comprehensive continuum of care, ensuring clients receive the right level of support at every stage. Our residential, PHP, and IOP programs serve adult females (18+) — including those who identify as female — and provide the skills and support needed for lasting healing.

Residential Treatment

The highest level of care, with 24/7 clinical supervision and support.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Higher-intensity outpatient treatment with structured daytime programming and evenings free.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Daytime programming with dedicated time to practice real-world recovery skills.

Aster Springs Virginia has three locations in Glen Allen, Manakin-Sabot and Manakintown Ferry​. Each location offers a private, peaceful, and home-like treatment environment where our clients can focus on healing and recovery.

This level of care is appropriate for individuals who need structured meals, daily therapy, medical monitoring, and consistent clinical support.

Aster Springs Virginia treats a full range of eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, purging disorders, and other specified feeding or eating disorders (OSFED). Treatment also addresses co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and OCD.

The length of residential treatment at Aster Springs Virginia varies based on each client’s individual needs, progress, and clinical recommendations. Many clients remain in residential care for several weeks before transitioning to a lower level of care.
