Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare and Aster Springs (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the https://astersprings.com/ website (the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personally identifiable information, or “PII” (defined below), when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that PII, except for protected health information submitted by you in the course of using our Service, which is covered HIPAA and discussed in our HIPAA Policy. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services.    • We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.  These third parties have access to your PII only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

   • Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. 5. Security of Data
   • The security of your data is important to us, but no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. California Residents
   1. Do Not Track.  We do not monitor, recognize, or respond to any opt-out or do not track mechanisms, including general web browser “Do Not Track” settings and/or signals. Further, we do not authorize third parties to collect any personally identifiable information about individuals who visit our site without separate consent.
   2. Third-Party Direct Marketing.  California residents are entitled to ask for a notice identifying the categories of PII which we share with certain third parties for direct marketing purposes under certain circumstances and providing contact information for such third parties. 7. Children’s Privacy
   • Our Service does address anyone under the age of 18.  We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with PII, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
8. Individuals Located in the European Economic Area (EEA)
   • The following section is applicable to those individuals located in the European Economic Area.  Such individuals have certain data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), with respect to their “Personal Data,” meaning information about an identified or identifiable natural person.  An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, location data, or online identifier.

Personal Data We Collect and Use.  The information we collect, and the use and disclosure of that information, is addressed elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.  We will not share your personal information with any third party, other than those categories of recipients identified in this Privacy Policy.
     2. Lawful Basis for Processing.  Our legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy depends on the Personal Data we collect and the specific context in which we collect it.  We may process your Personal Data for the Service because: (1) we need to perform a contract with you; (2) you have given us permission to do so; (3) the processing is in our legitimate interests, as described in Section II(A), and is not overridden by your rights, or (4) to comply with the law.  As described in Section II, we may engage in marketing and use cookies. Transfer of your Personal Data out of the EEA.  Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.  If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to United States and process it there.  The European Commission has not given a formal decision that the United States provides an adequate level of data protection similar to those which apply in the EEA. Odyssey Behavioral Health will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information. Your consent to this Privacy Policy represents your agreement to the transfer.
     5. Required Provision of Personal Data.  You are not required to provide any Personal Data, but failure to do so may limit your use of the Service.
     6. Your Rights.  We do take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data.  In certain circumstances, you have the following data protection rights:

   • Any changes in our Privacy Policy will be posted to this website and will become effective as of the date of posting with respect to information we then collect in the future, but will not be changed with respect to information that we have then already collected. It is and will be your responsibility to review our Privacy Policy from time to time to make sure you are aware of any changes.
