Frequently Asked Questions
What is the first step in the admissions process?
The first step is to call one of our facilities to speak with a knowledgeable and compassionate team member. They can answer any questions regarding admissions and will guide you through the next steps including completing assessments, reviewing payment options, discussing admission dates, and ultimately working with our clinical team to determine the appropriate level of care needed and if Aster Springs is the right fit.
What payment methods are available?
Aster Springs offers multiple payment options, and we ensure that each client has a financial plan that works for them prior to admission. Currently, we are in-network with Aetna, Anthem, Humana, MultiPlan, Optima Health, and UnitedHealthcare and affiliates, including Optum, UMR, etc.
Our financial team takes the time to help each client understand their benefits and cost of care so there aren’t any surprises. This is vital so our clients don’t feel burdened while they’re focusing on treatment. However, we do not accept Medicare, Medicaid, or TRICARE.
Can my family participate in my treatment?
Family involvement is an integral part of the recovery process, and we work to accommodate visitation as much as possible. We also encourage regular family therapy sessions in addition to family workshops. We strongly believe that recovery is a team effort!
How long does treatment last?
Every client is different, and the length of their program depends on their progress in treatment. Another factor is the insurance provider’s willingness to authorize treatment. Our team will do our best to advocate for the appropriate level and duration of care that will provide the best opportunity for sustained recovery.
